Organic White Peppercorns

Available in

White Peppercorns are ripe berries with the outer husk removed. They have a sharper flavour & a lot of pepper heat.

Suggested Uses

Pepper adds spicy heat and bold flavour to enhance any savoury dish. White pepper is often used with seafood & preferred in white sauces where black pepper becomes more visible.

Pepper is the most popular spice and is used as a seasoning worldwide.

To maintain the delicate flavours, I recommend grinding and adding pepper just before serving or as a garnish.

The Variety

White peppercorns are the seeds of ripe berries of a flowering tropical vine, Piper nigrum, native to India and widely cultivated throughout the tropics.
They are steam sterilised, which is a natural method of eliminating bugs and controlling microbial activity etc., rather than gas or irradiation.

Certified organic by BioGro NZ, for your assurance of quality and purity.

For Your Appreciation

I have specially selected these white peppercorns for their distinctly sharp flavour and aroma. They contain no additives or preservatives, and are steam treated as a more natural alternative to irradiation or gas treatment.

Pepper is the most widely used seasoning in the world, used since ancient times when it was traded as a currency. It adds exotic flavour and aroma to almost any dish.

Often used with seafood & preferred in white sauces where black pepper becomes more visible.
